The Migration from CCcorp: Origins of FGE

FGE first came into play after a dispute over how CC corp handled business.

A faction broke out between staff members which eventually became the downfall of CCcorp 20 years after the release of the G.U. Series.

Among the leaders of the Newly made faction were the Quality Control Members: Gwyddion, Euphony, and FractionSet.

FractionSet being the eldest of the faction became the leader, and was later decided to just go down by age, thus the original F.G.E abbreviation. They pushed CCcorp but never quite got through to them, so instead they started testing on their own builds of game servers for future stability of the project.

After all the hardships suffered through CCcorp's lack of dedication, the game finally collapsed and FGE finally stood up to take the lead and venture off from the rest of CCcorp.

From Gwyddion to Prophecy

FractionSet and Euphony left their newly build project, leaving Gwyddion only after several months.

Around 3 Months time Gwyddion was done working for the project as well, and handed everything to Varinyc & Podo, The only two to join the project aside from the original 3 members.

They (Podo & Varinyc) Then acquired The Future Engine 1 - 8 test projects to build from, and all the archived databases to go with it. Varinyc & Podo continued to use the Servers and Test Projects as a sandbox for both of their abilities for around a year, and in that time had named their "creation" Gwyddion.

Gwyddion was an attempt to make a game once again. But because of lack of publicity it never quite made it out of the sandbox stage. Stressed because of the absence of friendship and a sense of strong community, Podo and Varinyc both Ventured off on Different Paths to move on to "better" things. Roaming from small project to small project such as Filgaia, .hack//corruption, .hack//anomaly, and .hack//prophecy.

From Prophecy to Forgotten Goddess

The Prophecy: A game that was blossoming in community and mappers, but lacking in non-currupt Organizational skills and Coding/Management, Until Varinyc arrived.

Varinyc coded under the rule of Leixand for several months, until lack of project management and fairness caused her to pack up all her code and everyone who took her side, and leave the Prophecy project and all that originally belonged to the mutineers. Thus Leixand (the leader of the group at the time) stood down and granted usage of everything to Varinyc.

She saw this as an opportunity, continued to use prophecy as the engine of the game while in the background started sprucing up all of her old belongings Podo and her had tinkered with previously. Eventually completely Eclipsing everything The Prophecy had done with new and improved original content.

With such an occasion, The administrators of the new Website "Forgotten Goddess", Named themselves after the Omnipresent AI of the past, as well as the 2 of the 3 initials of The Original 3 Creators.

Originally named FGC, C for community. After a couple of months decided that they were to be much more than a community, but something along a grander scale. With that in mind it was just a random word out of many that started with E, in remembrance for the last of the 3 original creators of Future Engine 8. Along with that Change came the Upgrade from FEIIX to FEIX, which is what The World currently runs on.
